It is an '77 1800 head, original to the car as far as I know. It had either 15k or 115k miles on it, your guess... It has been completely disassembled, cleaned and new seals/gaskets all around. The intake/exhaust runners have been enlarged and polished with port/gasket matching done on the headers as well. Everything got a coat of High Heat Aluminum paint. Golden Lodge plugs. Air injection ports plugged with bolts and smoothed over with some JB Weld, if you didnt know what to look for you wouldn't see them.
I hope it is going in the car this weekend. Everyone start putting your timing hats on because I have never timed an engine... First for everything. I also have never rebuilt a cylinder head and I think I did a fair job.

In the end it will be a stock 1800 block with the ported 1800 head breathing through a Weber 38 ADL carb. Someday I may spring for some autocross cams to really make it scream, but I don't want to adjust the valve lash at the moment.
I hope to have it drivable for the Arkansas Drive in a few weeks if anyone is planning on making it.
