Hi Mark,

Count me in for any kind of get together. By the way, this weekend is the vintage racing at Loudon. I plan to be there on Saturday with my Fiat as a spectator.

Last weekend, I attended the Alfa Owners of New England drive through Gloucester with a get together at Glynn Motorsports. I had the only Fiat and there about 25 Alfas. Their web site is http://www.velocissima.com/ and there is an Events link. They didn't seem to mind having my Fiat in the parade and they were a great group of people with some nice cars.

Hopefully, other Fiat owners will chime in to join us.

Jon,

Sometimes I think that you and I are the only Fiat owners in NH. I know there are others out there. A met a few at the Gardner cookout last year. I think we need to move to NY, or Ohio, or GA, or TX or CA if we want to participate in a lot of Fiat Events. That's where everyone seems to be. I will keep you in the loop as hopefully more people join in.

thanks

There is a huge car show and swap meet held on the last Sunday of each month in Amherst, NH. Here is a link to their web site:

I've been going for many years. There is always a great selection of cars, motorcycles, and memorabilia on display and for sale.

It is very close to the Mass/NH border (exit 8 on route 3). I will be there on Sunday and I hope to see other Fiats and their owners there too.

Hi Mark,

I am in Hamilton, MA. I acquired a 1978 Spider last month. It has not run for 1o years and was underwater for an undetermined period of time. Surprisingly, the car has almost no rust but all the mechanicals were rusted-up. I should have it running by July 1.

Do you know if there are other owners on the Northshore of MA?

I don't know of any, but there are at least 3 in the southern NH area that may want to join up and go driving together once, you are up and running. My own 1977 came from Salem MA when I bought it three years ago.

Let me know when you are up and running.

thanks and good luck

Hi,

I am planning to attend the Hemmings car show on Saturday, July 17th with my 1983 Fiat Spider. I am heading that way late Friday afternoon from Southern NH.

Here is some info on the show:

Is anybody else planning to attend the show this weekend? I went to the Concours last year and it was excellent and it is held in a great location.

I hope to see you there!

Hey Jon,

I would love to go, but my car is not anywhere near ready to be judged these days. It's still in good shape but it is more of a daily driver these days then a show type car. Plus my son is at a Rock-n-Roll camp this week and his band is playing Saturday at the final day down in Easton Ma at Stonehill College.

Still would love just to go for a drive some day. I might have two others in the area to go with us.

Talk to you later.

Sounds good to me, although my newly aquired '80 is not quite ready for any long distance drives just yet. I've got to fix the exhaust and replace a caliper first, plus I've got some new carpeting to install.

BTW, I live in Hamilton, MA and I saw another Spider on rt 1A last week. Would that be anyone here?
