Hello,
I have 2 main jets that do not seat securely to their respective emulsion tube…
They fall down into the carburetor where I then lower the emulsion tube and lightly tighten. I can visually see them fall vertically in what appears to be the proper orientation. I can visually see that all four tubes are the same height when placed back into the carburetor. Assuming the car starts, and drives ok, is this an issue with tunning the carburetors?
Thank you
IDF Loose fitting Main Jet

Re: IDF Loose fitting Main Jet
Hi
For whoever cares to know, I so very CAREFULLY enlarged the jet’s "skirts" and now all 4 jets are firmly secured to the emulsion tube.
One jet’s "skirt" was torn, and was lost to the process…thankfully, I always order an extra one for these unforeseen circumstances.
