Hi all,
Sorry for the dumb question. I'm still very much in the learning phase of car mechanics right now, but I am trying to figure out an oil leak I have on my 1977 124 Spider. Trying to figure out the name of the part and what it does. Also, has anyone else had this issue, and if so, how difficult is it to replace? I'm hoping I only need a new gasket.
I have two photos below. The oily one is my car, the other is from Eldest Builds on YouTube. Thought it might make it easier to identify if I included both.
Can someone tell me what this is?

The elbow hose goes from the crank case to an oil separator, the another hose up to the air cleaner. Fiats version of a PCV system.. It's a good thing to clean out once in a while..
easiest to take out with the elbow hose and separator together.. loosen clamp on bottom part of hose, take the long bolt out of center of separator: can pull both out . of course take upper hose off separator.
below is one of 2 that is listed for '77.
