Now that that I have the car running pretty well, I took her out on a drive and notced that the brakes weren't what I expected. Is there anything I should be looking for as I climb under the Spider ?
I have rebuilt brake systems before and will be putting the car up on four jack stands and start looking for the culprit. I am hoping it is just s imple matter of bleeding the brake system. The car wasn't driven much before it was given to me and I am thinking about flushing the whole system first but ......
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Brake Question
Re: Brake Question
to successfully bleed the rear brakes the axle has to be supported, or disconnect the link to the compensator and secure it as high as it will go. Otherwise the fluid to the rear calipers is shut off
Re: Brake Question
a not so obvious hose couples the output from the brake compensator to the t-fitting mounted on the rear axle. be sure to replace all five hoses.
