The wire going to the temperature gauge sensor has snapped off. Is it just a simple strip and tape in a new wire, or am I missing something here? What kind of wire and wire end does this use? I'm not that familiar with this electrical stuff, and I can't find info on something this basic. Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

A spade female connector is all you need and a crimping tool
