cross member right behind transmission

Just noticed the bolts holding a rubber gasget/bushing have no nuts on the and are loose.
cross member still tightly attached to car. these bolts go front to back prob about 12 mm
was wondering about replacing the rubber piece when i replace/tighten up the bolts: not sure what to call this or where to find.
any help?

the transmission mount will be rubber bonded to a steel bracket. Those bolts should have nuts, and the bolts should have spacers to prevent the crossmember from being crushed when the nuts are tightened

haven't gotten all the way under there, but looks like the bracket from the crossmember to the tranny is loose as well.
was difficult to find pics to show what it should look like. At least from where I can see. Looks like I will need a bolt for the bracket to the tranny and find the sleeves you mention and nuts from the bolts. needs a lot of cleaning too

more inspection: the rubber felt completely degraded.
found a new trans mount at AR
Will go to hardware store and find the sleeves and nuts.

the costs can add up, but sure feels good to know you are replacing things to make it solid. trans never felt loose but only a matter of time.

would you use a locking washer with nuts or a nylon locking nut for the bolts going through the crossmember and trans mount bracket?

project complete. all bolted up now. Amazing what was not connected: no nuts on bolts connecting the mount to the crossmember.
And, sure am glad I am redoing the steering linkage; found that there was no nut on the stud of the tie rod end connecting to the steering arm on the passenger side.
explains a lot.
New radiator today too. love getting things done
