Hi all, I recently bought a 1983 Spidereuropa in great condition. The seller has been using lead additive and suggested I should continue to do so.
Of course I nodded and grinned, but this seemed unusual to me, particularly for a fuel injected car. On inspecting the car I noticed that the catalytic converter seems to have been removed at some point (or perhaps the European market DS spiders were not fitted with cats at that time?).
Anyway, my question is do I have to add lead additive each time I refuel, or should it run ok on unleaded without additive (I only use 98-100 RON super unleaded)?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers

you don't need any additives
