Tutto Italiano Last Sunday at The Larz Anderson

Tutto Italiano was held at The Larz Anderson Museum of Transportation in Brookline this past Sunday, and the turnout was tremendous. Over 100 Ferraris were registered, dozens upon dozens of Maseratis, Lambos, Alfas, etc. And McLaren was there in force (yes the Brits are clearly going after Ferrari dominance and rented impressive vendor space with about 8 cars present)

The new Spider was present and was up on a lift that a vendor was showing. I took a few pics and there are some underneath shots in the set in the photobucket link. Later on it came down and joined we proletariats on the lawn, parked next to my 80 FI. A really nice Fiat "Executive" was present and is for sale, and a 126P that I had never seen before was there, along with a bunch of vintage stuff. I didn't photograph the Alfas and Panteras, I just ran out of steam in the heat.

Fiat had a fairly good showing, but it has been coming steadily down from prior years, maybe 6 Spiders. It was good to see AJ there! A couple of X1/9's were present too. The problem tends to be with this show that it is too crowded, always too hot, too expensive ($40 to put your car on the lawn) and dominated by the luxury brands, and thus the Fiat contingent seems to shrink each year. I actually have a lot more fun at the regular cruise nights I attend in Halifax and Bourne, Foxboro, etc.

But at any rate, the link above contains many pictures that may be of interest. My lovely daughter Beryl attended with me and has been so supportive all along our challenging health journey. A more loving, grace filled and wonderful daughter no man ever had.

Pete

Great pics! Thanks for posting. Not that i should notice before the McLarens and the Ferraris, but Jim Magill made it with his Fiat 126! He's been on an intercontinental tour for weeks! :D :D :D
