Re-tighten your FI fuel line clamps :!: :!:

A couple of months and about 300 miles ago, I installed all new fuel lines. Re-installed the fuel rail. Car ran great and no leaks. In the last few days, I noticed some hesitation and missing. One one occasion, the car stalled and sputtered so badly during a hard uphill, 3rd gear acceleration that I pulled off to the side of the road.

I was thinking bad fuel pump or faulty regulator or maybe a problem in the FI circuitry. Easy to assume the worse and a part you haven't replaced.

This morning, I backed out of the garage and popped the hood to have a look. There was a stream of gas spitting out of the fuel line at the cold start valve. Right over the alternator

I am soooo lucky :!: All I can think of is the fuel line compressed under the clamp and engine vibration had opened up the leak. I know the clamp had been screwed tighter than I found it. :?

Yes, and proper hose, both bought from AR.

I've had the same issue...the first time.
Since then I've thought ahead as to the position of the clamp so I can tighten after a swap of the rail/injectors.
Now I'll put some dry clean shop towel under the hoses and idle the car for a bit to see if there are any leaks. Still periodically wipe my fingers under the hoses and conections... The starter is down there as well...
