Speedometer- Adjusting/Calibrating

Need help on how to adjust or calibrate my speedometer? It reads about 6-8 mph too high (at 72mph it reads around 80mph). I measured with GPS.

speedo shops usually build an adapter to correct for tire size, oem variance, etc. Your Spider has an angle adapter from the trans to the cable, so replacing it with one built to correct the speed shouldn't be too hard.
