Post by brad131a4 »

I was wondering if any of the locals are going to the show or entering their ride. I'm hoping to have mine some what cleaned up and down at the show . Not to sure if there is judging or not just going for fun.

Hi, Brad-

My daughter attends WWU in Bellingham. I hope to fly in to visit her and attend the FEN gathering. Sounds like great fun.

Wow the only response and from someone out of state.Qudos to you Jerry for making it . I hope to see you there . I'll be in a orange spider slammed about as low as you would want to practically go for driving on the street.

We will be there! Not entering my car but I will be driving it (perhaps next year). It should be really fun to see all of the local cars & meet new faces.

Whoa Brakes Series II 13" Kit added to BSC prizes

Post by ICF »

Here is the overview of the BSC (please share it where you can):

Over the decades, a few models of inexpensive roadsters have surpassed the test of time to become coveted classics. There is a model- perhaps more accurately a series of models- that has developed a devoted following and is rapidly becoming one of the greats. That series of special automobiles was produced starting in 1967 and ended in 1985 ½. These cars were produced as Fiat 124 & 2000 Spiders and Pininfarina Spider Azzura.

To celebrate this remarkable series, ItalianCarFest 2007 will designate these cars Honored Models. And to add to the excitement, ItalianCarFest has invited North America’s Fiat clubs to participate in the Best Spider Challenge. The challenge is this: who owns the best example of these wonderful cars?

To find the answer, each of these great clubs- FIAT America, Fiat Enthusiasts Northwest, Fiat-Lancia Unlimited and Fiats of So. Cal.- has graciously accepted the challenge. Fiats of So. Cal. have selected a car from the Best of France & Italy show in Los Angeles. The other clubs will host separate events around the country pick their challengers. And those four cars- one from each club- will come to ItalianCarFest in September of 2007 to compete for the title of ‘BSC North American Champion’.

The challenger from each Fiat club will receive an ItalianCarFest Prize Package that includes:
· 2 ICF reception tickets
· A room Fri. night at ICF host hotel the Gaylord Texan Resort
· Entry in the show in a special area to feature the challengers
· 2 tickets for Sat. evening- dinner, silent auction for charity
· A room Sat. night
· 2 for Sun. brunch

In addition, the winner will receive: A fabulous art glass trophy, 13" Series II Whoa Brakes kit and $500+ IN CASH from the ICCS.

Each Fiat club will be identified with prominent signage by their entry at ICF ‘07. The entries will be parked under a tent at the focal point of ICF’s Saturday show: Directly in front of the Awards Area. And the club that sends the car winning the North American championship will receive a special accolade.

Get out your wax and show your car! The Best Spider Challenge ’07 has begun! (Go to italiancarfest.com for ICF details)
