Hi Brady,

They are custom made from 2 1/2" Truck Marker lights and and white PVC plumbing fittings... the inner lens is going to have a hole drilled in it for back-up light lens that will be powered by a super bright white LED...

I can post a pic of them if you'd like..

a hybrid actually the Tail-Stop-Turn part is an incandescent...The BU Lights are LED...What you are seeing in the lit up photo is the reflection of the flash in the lens..

I think it'll look good once you've completed your project. Has anyone thought to slant the two lights to match the shape of the rear fender?

I think you'd have to have a light that was able to shoot straight on built with the angle in it... does that make sense? When intially designing for round taillights i tried out what it would look like to flush mount them and i didn't like to the results... frenching looks better in my opinion..

UPDATE: Denise, I thought about your query again... did mean following the slight angle that occurs from the edge of the trunk lid to the outside of the top f the fender. If so I thought about that to but never tried it. The first v6spider had round 2 1/2" taillights too except there were three a separate one for bu lights I eliminated that for version 2.0.... the bu lights are in the center of the inner taillights...

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Two round lights positioned at a slight angle to follow the flow of the back of the rear fender. I think it would compliment the natural lines of the car. Of course, what's in my mind may not necessarily look all that great in real life.

Yay I guessed it... when i visualized it... it just didn't seam as appealing... sorry ... the orignal idea was from the dino spider... ferrari and the like.... all of those examples were in a line ...
