Top will not close

My cars top has been folded, in the garage for a few months. I cannot get the top to close, I know it's shrunk, about 1.5in. What can I do in the mean time till I get a new top?

Put the car in the sun with the top up as much as possible. Let the sun warm it up. You should be able to get it to close after it heats up.

Brady's right. It's amazing how much these tops loosen up in the heat - or conversely tighten up after they've been down all summer and you try to put them up after the weather has cooled down a bit.
