Anybody know the correct size rubber hose from the brake reservoir to the master? Mine leak and appear original. 1978 Fiat 124 Spider. Thanks

Make sure you get the correct hose for brake fluid. Are the early and late cars different sizes? I bought some from IAP for my '72 and it was too loose, so I bought some from Auto Ricambe that fit. If you have a local store that deals with early VW's they should carry it.

Auto Ricambi offers "early" and "late" hose types - call to be sure you order the right one.

Mine looks like the early with braided material. Can't I get some at the local auto parts store?

I'll bet you can, although, being metric they may have to order it in. Bring the old hose and cut a fresh section to get a good comparison measurement.

With all the import cars like Honda, Toyota, etc I would think metric hoses should be available????

Well, found out it's not the hose but the plastic fill tube that goes into the master cylinder is cracked. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? Thanks
