1.6 or 1.8 engine?

Does anyone know the specs for the 1.6 and 1.8 fiat spider engines of the early '70's? Which one is more reliable?
Also, how much would a starter cost for a '72?

what specs you looking for ? 1608 is 80mm bore 80mm stroke 36 mm exhaust 42mm intake valves .

1800/1756 79.2 mm stroke 84mm bore same size valves .

HP is close do to the head flow being about the same and the peak
RPM is close as well .

Either Engine is a good choice and very tough the one thing these
Engine have an issue with is oil leaks and timing belt needs to be
changed every 30k miles but so does the belt on a 355 Ferrari
and it's far more work on the 355 !

it has same stroke as 1756 but 80mm pistons only produced 1 year .
nothing special from the rest of them .
