Location, Location, Location

Isn't that what they call it? I just wish everyone from the fourm would put their location over by their avatar. What could it really hurt? Maybe your my neighbor and I don't know it. Your life can't possibly require that much hiding. Maybe its just me, but when I look at any post or respond, I am instantly drawn to where the person is living. Sometimes, but not always true. You can get a feel for a car by the location. Arizona, dried up bushings, mounts, threads on interior deteriorated or burnt, varnish in the tank and carbs, for the most part, rust free but faded, etc. Me? Minnesota. High potential for rust, moldings and rubber parts usually in near perfect condition, interiors usually good because of moisture content. possibly rusted off ground wires. Things like this. I don't think I am the only goofball that thinks like this. Am I? For me. Its almost like telling an engine problem but not stating if its carb'd or injected, auto or stick, factory or aftermarket, Or what year the car and/or engine is. Thats my 1.8 cents.
Disclaimer: Don't take this post too serious. I just like knowing where everyone is from, because thats the way I roll :D

I agree, it helps with understanding the other relative conditions the car has been operated in (potholes, bad roads etc)

I just like knowing where people are from, they may be near someone else I know who could help them in person or would be a good person for them to know

The more info, the better we can help them.

Theres the other .2 cents

Agreed. It's frustrating to read a post from someone asking for advice, with no clue of the key basics:

Name
Where located
Specifics of the vehicle
Contact info (so we don't have to use the dreaded PM feature!)

True some of this information may not be absolutely necessary, but it sure helps. Now, let me check my signature to make sure I'm not just blowing smoke!! :D

In addition to your location, consider adding details of your Fiat. You can easily add your vehicle information in your aignature.
