Finished up my first brake job ever yesterday on a car let alone a Fiat. Took me awhile due to some unexpected issues which you guys helped me through and waiting for parts. I believe I've got all the air out of the system. Just want to run some things by you spider experts.
The brake pedal feels really firm (hard) before starting the car and then when the car is started the pedal is easy to push due the booster right? How far should the pedal go down before being able to stop. I drove the car plenty of times before the brake job but forgot how the pedal felt when the car was running. I testing the car out after I bled the brakes and it does stop good.
Done with my brake job...finally!

a good way to test the booster is to pump the pedal with the key off until the pedal is hard. Hold your foot on the pedal and start the car. The pedal should drop an inch or so.
Pedal travel to stop the car is hard to gauge, but you should be able to get your other foot under the pedal when braking
