Correct accelerator Cable?
Went to replace the accelerator cable today and noticed that the new one is shorter in length then the one I have on my car. Wondering if they sent me the correct one or not. Does the automatic trans cars use a different cable? What's the usual length of the cable? Thx.

Re: Correct accelerator Cable?
Mark,
Here's an old pic of my engine bay before I replaced the timing belt, coolant hoses and such. Does the cable I have on look right or too long?

Re: Correct accelerator Cable?
it looks about right, could be a tad shorter but you have to allow for engine movement under load
Re: Correct accelerator Cable?
I guess they sent me the wrong then because it's much shorter. I'll double check tomorrow.
