2000 FI pistons
The engine in My 2000 LE has pistons with the # 84-66361/G stamped in the top. I'm pretty sure these are not stock pistons. Can anyone tell me if they are stock or after market? Thanks

Thanks for the replys. I am reassembling the engine and leaving it as is. I think by the PN on the piston it means it is bored out a bit too. The head gasket was leaking between #3 & 4 cylinders. Defenitly a low milelage engine too.

Thanks Mark will be done.
The engine ran, but didn't seem to have the power my other one has. The fan came on just like it should. Leaked oil everywhere even though the seller said it had only 5k miles on it. I checked head bolt torgues and found some under 20lbs. None were close to the 60ft/lb spec. So I pulled the head. The leak as between gasket and block. Soft soot like deposit that was also present on both cylinder walls. Gasket to head looked good everywhere. Any other advise is always welcome

LE pistons more questions
It was pointed out to me this weekend this engine has Lancia cast into it. The other two 81 2000 engines I have have Fiat cast into them in the same place. Does this mean the engine was replaced in this car?? Or could either name exist on the engine and be original?
