anyways, i just discovered that annoying and dreaded SDDS "slacking driver door syndrome" actually i am fortunate in that i caught it in its more nacent stage; just when the door hangs up a bit on opening as oppossed to sparks shooting whilst driving down the Freeway. So i will have to put Mike's kindly constructed "fix it"document to the test, will be visiting the Fiat doctor this Wed. to see what his thoughts are on carrying out the surgery. Good news is that the other door looks visually sound.............but what lies beneath is the question????????????? Will get some pics and update as things progress.

What year is your car? I've been extremely lucky that I haven't had this problem on any of my early model cars, including the ones I've parted out. Must be a later model problem.
