How thin do you really want your tire?

I have 15's,as do a lot of other owners.I have seen some pix of cars with 16'' and 17'' wheels.I dont particularly care for the look, but they will fit.Like Brady said, its gonna be a thin sidewall on the tire.

I have a z3 with 16s and its the perfect size.. i couldnt imagine 15s on it..
If 16s fit with a normal low profile tire then that would be my preference i think.
Not too low profile though. I wonder if it would scrape?

Like they say above, if you put 16s on a car that is designed to have 14 or 15 your sidewall is drastically reduced. It's not as simple as saying the Fiat is similar size to the Z3...you maintain the rolling circumference dimension of the stock tire when you change wheel size. So, increasing the wheel diameter reduces the outside tire diameter.
