dandruff? If you mount that snow blower on the front of the Spider you'll have the only Fiat snowplow in the world (my world at least)

I hear you got a lot more than we did but the kids and I still had fun making a snowman and sliding down the hill in 42 degree weather....perfect skiing weather in my book! I'm afraid it'll be awhile before any of my Fiats are moved.

The weather event you're having back there has made the local news here. Quite a bit of snow in a short time period. As frustrating as the stuff can be if you want to travel, the kids love it... sometimes even the big kids. (just got back from taking the dogs out for a X=country ski)

Nice clean looking garage! and Car too. I like your plow. I have a snow blower and didn't start it for a few years. Now I had to shovel twice. It's going to the shop tomorrow.

Thanks for the nice comments on the Gravely. It's older than the Spider! None of them fancy safety do-dads, either. To stop the engine, reach down under the tank, between the whirring fan and fan belt, and turn off the fuel petcock. Don't let go of the handlebars, 'cause there's no interlock. Debbie doesn't even like to go near it when it's not running!

And Mark, I would put the blade on the front of the Spider, but then there would be two front bumper treatments better looking than the late-model's

A Studebaker? I believe Gravely used their own, Kohler and Briggs throughout the years. It was a sad day when the factory closed here in Clemmons. Bernie, did you go to Dick Bear's shop to see his metalworking during our Dixiefest? We were 2 miles away from the Gravely factory.

We have a winner! Denise nails it with Studebaker. No, we didn't make the machine shop side trip. I understand that they're now part of Ariens, who's probably part of MTD, who is probably in the process of moving off to ... here's comes Mike! ....

It takes a "special" kind of consumer to spend as much on a lawnmower as on a car. Not many consider lawn and garden equipment to be lifetime items. (I did cheat and buy this used in 1988. It's probably worth as much now as what I paid for it. But most of my neighbors are on their second or third consumer-grade product.) Heck, most Americans don't keep their house that long ...
