so, if i still have the old booster from my recent swap... is there anything worth keeping? and if so, is it worth the hassle to pull the dang thing apart for?

The mounting plate and pushrod are the only parts required to convert to manual. I took the booster apart to get the rod out, (since I didn't really know how it was built or came apart), but the end of the rod had another piece on the end that had to be removed. I think maybe if you could pry it out the rod would pop out without dissasembly.

Can't wait to do this mod on my car; got a salvage booster mounting plate; it's 16 ga, BTW. Fortunately, I've got some lying around. Trey, any help you can provide with dimensions of the holes and bracket would be appreciated.
I thought the Mystery Switch was a test device for Tony to engage the fast idle circuit on the carb.
