Windshield Replacement

Post by tonyfromjersey »

My windshield is getting pretty nasty, it is delaminated in places and crazed in others (airplane terms but you get the idea). It's bad at night when oncoming headlights hit it, or when there's a lot of sun glare in the late afternoon.

Has anyone had any luck with any of the local window repair guys? OR do I need to order one from our suppliers?

Thanks

Tony,

Try your local Safelight auto glass. They can probably do it with a lifetime warranty for under $200.

Hi Tony,
You can have my windshield and frame off of my parts car if you want it. When you come over take a look at it. George

Hi Brady,
You are correct. Crack on lower drivers side. Told Tony that it might be a free replacement until he gets around to buying new or replacing it with something better. He can't see all that well with the one he has now. Ralph may have a better one. Just trying to offer him a no cost option. Thanks again for the help the other day. George :D
