It runs from 9am to 3pm

Italian Car Show, San Diego April 4th
Re: Italian Car Show, San Diego April 4th
was the invitation to attend or display cars? Hard to believe Ferrari guys would want Fiats in their show. Too bad it's on Sat rather than Sunday
Re: Italian Car Show, San Diego April 4th
lol Mark..
Not sure yet.
I've asked the question. I'll post as soon as I get a response about whether or not the reasonably priced Fiats are welcome to be in the overpriced Fiats car show.
I believe that as it is being billed as an "Italian Car Show", and the San Diego Fiat Club got an invite, that all Italian cars are invited, but as I said. I don't really have any details other than what is in that email from Geoff.

Re: Italian Car Show, San Diego April 4th
meh,
I just called a number given as the information line for this event in the San Diego paper. I thought I would get a recording, but I think I just woke a car snob up! lol! Yay me!
and no the Fiats weren't really invited to show their cars. They were invited to see the Fiatrerarris (just made that term up! and... I like it!), Lambos, and Maseratis.
Stuff it, I'm staying home an polishing my chrome.
I can see those cars any time I want to in LA. Everyone has one of those! That is like having a Ford Escort Wagon only car show, and saying no.. the Cosworth r wasn't invited, but he can come see the wagons!
I need to get my car ready for the Muckenthaler show in Fullerton anyway! I got a carpet kit for Christmas, and need to install it!
I am registered for the Muckenthaller Concourse D'elegance in May. I'll do another post for that in a couple of days. It is a fantastic show! and they aren't snobby! Except for the Jaguar Club who does their own judging, that said... I love Jags. E-type me baby!

Re: Italian Car Show, San Diego April 4th
who or what is a Muckenthaler? Is it some type of gardening boot?

So Cal Mark wrote:who or what is a Muckenthaler? Is it some type of gardening boot?
yep.
and that Gardening boot puts on one hell of a car show!
ok.. I'm digging for the link right now....
here it be
I suppose I will do a post now then.. lol

ok.. the concourse show is on Sunday. Your car will only be judged if you want it to be.
It cost me $30.00 to enter. Maybe $35.00 not really sure.
You will spend more on beer and hot dogs.
The cars are fantastic, the setting is unbelievably beautiful.
The only way this show could improve is with a strong showing by the Fiat/Lancia Boyz! And please bring that Maroon Alfa GTV! Need I beg once again for Ed to bring his Lancia Fulvia? If I do need to beg.. I'll do it on the actual post for this event!
The last 4 years there has been a Fiat Dino there with some silly and quite unnecessary Fiatrerarirri badges. I've given him plenty of poo about this, I think the only way to get him to acknowledge his Fiat heritage is to overwhelm him with Fiats, and make him look like a poser.. lol Perhaps we can demand to be parked all around him. Actually I know some of the Judges and organizers there... maybe I can pull some strings. hehehe.
