Re: New Member
To transfer pictures from photobucket, first resize them to about 1/2 size (edit) so they don't run off the page in your post on the forum. Then click on "IMG code" below the picture you want to post. It should turn yellow and give you a "copied" notification. If not then right click on "IMG code" and then select "copy". All you need to do then is paste it into your message (ctrl+v works). You don't need to use the Img button from those above the message composition area if you do it this way.
Good luck,
Ron

Howdy everyone,
A big thanks to Ron for helping me post my pic's. This is my '79 Spider The black and white pic's are at a friends garage where he has a few projects of his own. He was nice enough to let me work on my car there when my pinion gear broke into three pieces. It took me about a year to rebuild the front and rear suspension.

the pictures are at two different locations. The ones in color are at a movie set before the pinion gear break down..

Re: New Member
JP did you have any symptoms before your rear end gave up?
1978 Spyder 1800 make that 2L! Finally making real progress!
Re: New Member
Yes I did! It was a gerrgulling noise that stopped when I pushed in the clutch pedal,I thought it was the clutch going out. I was going about 55MPH when it gave way, it was a long day I had to have it towed.
Are you having trouble??

Hey JP.
Nice looking ride, and you have a good eye for an interesting background shot. Might wanna consider photography as a second occupation. at the very least, you sure know how to stimulate a conversation.
that pinion gear sure looks chewed up. i betcha it created quite a racket for a while.
welcome to the site.

Re: New Member
Are those Delrin bushings in the control arms? Or is the flash just making them lookin white. If those are Delrin, good luck
Re: New Member
looks nice. A nice set of braided steel brake hoses would finish it off nicely, and improve the braking as well
