I'm surprised helmets weren't required-I've never seen a track not require them for any event

Rollbars or helmets are not required at VIR when it's a speed controlled follow the leader type of deal. It's basically a Sunday drive on the track. Passing is not allowed, which is a bummer sometimes since some people like to poke around the curves.
