I've pulled the valve thingy from the valley between the cam chests (by the spark plugs) that taps into the exhaust outlet and plugged that. I've pulled all the vacuum lines off that run between the carb and the head and connect to the warm up valve block bolted to the inlet manifold and discarded all that. Pulled the valve thing that bolts to the inner wing and connects to the front of the inlet manifold, plus it's pipes......... and now I'm left with this -

Is that the EGR valve? What's the best way of dealing with that? take it off and make a blanking plate that bolts in it's place?
Also this -

I assume this pipe goes 'through' the engine and connects to the corresponding port on the inlet manifold.... do I need to strip this off? or will blanking the inlet manifold at the EGR seal it off?
Is there anything better to do with the now redundant carb vacuum pipe spigots than just blank them all off?
