Sue Watch was "judged" F.U.N. Karoake Queen and the pipps (Kevin Lingbeck, Dave Nicholson and Mike Louviere) were a distant 2nd place.
Stay tuned for Saturday's photos.

Thanks for the pictures Jon.
I'm not sure, but I thought I could hear the two guy's duet being sung out of tune.
Give Sue our congratulations.

Out of tune would be a "gentle" way of putting it.
You'll have to ask Melanie, I mean Mike Bouse, about his brand new pair of roller skates.
Dune ride photos have been posted to the link above.

Re: F.U.N. Friday Photos and Karoake Night
I have not laughed that hard in years! If you would have organized a Karoake night, no one would have come. But we decided to stay collectivly at the hotel bar on Friday night. After a few beers, things just happened. Dont believe the lies youll probably hear! But we had this kinda fun all weekend. The ride on the dunes just topped it all off! The BBQ on sat worked out well too, and as for Mike singin a Melanie tune... He kinda got put on the spot, and was a good sport. But, was it bad!!! Im still laughing.

I think the only one NOT laughing are those folks that took Karaoke Night seriously. I couldn't believe it. We were laughing and "singing" and having the time of our lives, and they were NOT. They (regulars) were singing only serious tunes, and applauding respectfully. Good thing it was a small hotel bar/grill.
The barkeep hadda curious look on her face too, when we grabbed nearly 80% of the tables and squished them together for our gang.
i won't kid you, cuz i am sure some You-Tube videos are coming out soon.... I cannot sing worth a DARN, and now Dave knows it too.
but, that was only Friday. Saturday was gorgeous, yet chilly. Rained for a few moments getting started, then mostly sunny & 60°F the rest of the day. Lots of great places to cruise. The BBQ Saturday afternoon was a hoot. Dave is a fantastic chef. Never ate elk burger before. Never Karaoke'd before either. Missed out on the OKTOBERFEST going on downtown...but that was o.k. too.
Sunday morning, we had frost on the windshields. Lots more fun driving, and a dune ride. check out the pictures. Better yet, set some time aside to join us next fall.
