Upholstery work in Ottawa RESOLVED

Does anybody have some advice/referral/experience for getting some upholstery done in Ottawa or surrounding area? I am just looking to have both drivers and passengers seats done along with rear bench. I can do cash and am not in a rush (need done by April)

I have tried General and GotItCovered with drastically different quotes etc. Just nervous about pulling the trigger. Not concerned about a big shop vs a person in their own garage just want good work at a fair price

Jay - I haven't used this guy, but have heard that he's excellent and reasonable, from my Porsche friends.

Jay, Unless you want to go custom, buy the kit for the seats - much cheaper and more than likely just as good. Just need a couple of tools from Eastwood and some hog rings and you are in business. If I had it to do over again, I would get a kit. Others may offer differing opinions, but for stock black or tan I think its the way to go.

I am pretty excited about it, may be ready before Christmas

General Auto does real nice work.
My buddy had them install custom Recaro's in his ragtop.
A little pricey but worth it!

Seats are ready today, just need to bring Fiona in so they can fit the tonneau cover

Looks like I will have to give her another cleaning before she goes back in the garage

but I am really looking forward to trying out the new seats

Due to poor and lack of communication on their end I am still waiting to hear back as to when I can bring in Fiona and a get/pay the bill
