Hello! Been away from my 1981 fiat all winter mainly because I couldn’t understand why it wouldn’t want to start in the fall. Now I’m back at it and have been going through everything looking for leaks or loose connections....litterarly anything. I got to the wiring under the hood and man is it a mess. Previous owner did several lazy modifications. Could people please post pics of their wiring under the hood? I was having a really hard time finding helpful images. I am using the wiring diagrams but feel like pics could help solve a couple mysteries.
I am particularly looking for relay wiring (although would love pics of anything). I don’t have power windows as it’s an 1981 so I know I should be missing a couple relays but not sure about the wiring of the others. So if anybody has some pictures of wiring that they feel confident works then please post. I hope this thread will help others later on maybe.

Re: Wiring pics
I don't have photos.
I do recommend that you join the Fiat chat room: Mirafiori.com Once a member you will have access to their library. The reference material contained in their electrical library is extremely helpful.
Do you have a copy of Fiat publication titled: "Spider 2000 Electrical Diagnostic Manual 1980-1981" It can be found in their library.
this manual is a very complete training manual published by Fiat for Spiders. It contain a complete set of wire diagrams, circuit operation explanations, and photos of component locations.
Previous Owner modifications such as Headlight relay kit or Lada ignition switch conversion are often unique to the car and little or no documentation is available.

Re: Wiring pics
Thank you! I signed up and was actually able to solve the electrical issues somehow. Not exactly sure what was causing them though! Thanks for the recommendation.
