Koni's advice

Hello,
I have a 124 spider 2000 1981 and I would like to change the old OEM shock absorbers with new ones (but I don't want to change the springs). I have ordered Monroe OEM hydraulic shocks, I have received the shocks yesterday but they seems to be as soft as the old ones so it's not a good solution.
I will probably go for yellow koni's but some people are saying it can be bad/dangerous for the car even with the "soft" settings. Do I have to worry about that or may I go on ?

I love my Konis, and you'll pretty much find that everyone here using them does too. The only real complaint seems to be their cost, and that pain goes away eventually.

Not sure what solution you're looking for, but I'm very pleased with the Konis I recently put on my car. Good ride, in my opinion. Probably a little stiffer than OEM, but overall much better than worn shocks.

You'll be happy with the Koni shocks. Many sources I found suggested them, and ALL recommended that they be set on their softest setting.
Please let us know how you 'feel' about them.

Koni sport since + 5 years , good improvement.

You can choose between "classic" ( red) , and "sport" (yellow), both were available in most car parts shops in Belgium ( 5 years ago).
