PARTS
Hi, I live in the UK and order most of my parts from Germany at great expense!! I'm about to order calipers for each corner and the price is crazy, does anyone know if another car fits exactly the same parts and spec just different name? Car is a 1981 2000i model.

Re: PARTS
IIRC front calipers are the same 124, 125, 128, 131, 132, X1/9 etc. Rear calipers 124, 125, X1/9, some 132, except piston diameter is different, I think 125 is larger diameter than 124.
Try Emanuelle at ricambistorici, he's in Italy. He tracked down some very hard to find NOS bits for my 131.

Re: PARTS
Have you considered purchasing a rebuild kit for the front and rear brakes? The kit is damn cheap compared to new calipers and if you've got a bit of time and patients, the job really isn't too bad. As long as your brake pistons aren't scored or rusted it's pretty simple to rebuild them.PureStyle wrote:Hi, I live in the UK and order most of my parts from Germany at great expense!!
