First time post

Great site lots of interesting topics loaded with info. I'm new and have a 1981 Spider. Almost perfect but needs some things like paint as the wife hates the color. Out of a collection of 4 other cars i like the fiat the best. Need info on changing the bumpers
like the one on the Forum page. I just hate the stupid bumpers built for Canada.

Welcme to the forum Lar. Good to hear from you. What kind of change are you thinking about for the bumpers? This is a hot topic in the Spider community. There's a sharply divided line concerning the newer dual tube bumpers, and a lot of them have been taken off and left bumperless, or changed out to earlier styles.
Give us pictures of your car when you get a chance.

I think you should leave your car the way God and Fiat intended -- with it's original color and bumpers. Actually, while I am in the camp that has no problem whatsoever with the later bumpers, I think they look good without the bumpers as well. If you ditch the bumpers, you should seriously consider lowering the car as well to get the proper stance.
