Can someone tell me how to remove this piece of bright trim without destroying the door paint or the trim piece itself?
Looking for advice from someone who has actually done this themselves.
Many thanks:

Re: How does this trim come off?
It just pulls up.
I used an ice pick under the edge by the door jamb to get it started, work your way along. A rag underneath and a gentle use of a screwdriver can help prevent bending it as you work it up along its lenght.

Re: How does this trim come off?
My One comes off buy lifting it straight up, I use this plastic trim up removal tools, may also wedge a thin plastic sheet (like cut out of an ice cream container??) to further protect the paint work under the tool??
Cheers David

Re: How does this trim come off?
I used thin self-stick foam sheets (available at Michaels Crafts stores). Cut thin strips and stick these along the window gap edge. This gives the trim pieces more to bite onto.81SPIDERMATT wrote:mine comes off when you roll up the window .... i would love to know if there is some type of clip that i am missing or do i just need to pinch it a bit so it stays on better ....
