Case in point, I was removing rubber fuel lines that were run from the tank to the carb because the metal fuel lines had been removed so I was replacing them with metal lines again. I was beneath the hood getting ready to pull the rubber lines through the firewall. I carefully traced the lines to ensure I had the right ones, then looked away for just a second or two. I turned back and grabbed one of the fuel lines and started pulling...it wasn't pulling through the firewall so I used a little extra force. I know better, but tugged a bit harder to remove the line. As it came loose, I realized that I had grabbed the brake fluid line leading to the brake reservoir and broke the bottom connector to the reservoir. ARGH!
I hate it when that happens.
