Blue 72 & The Wedding

Post by njoconnor »

I've posted in other threads about one of Blue 72's "tasks" this year: being the "something old, something blue" getaway vehicle for my youngest son's wedding. Despite stiff winds and temps in the upper 40's, Mike and Diane's Outdoor wedding was a great success, and Blue 72 did its part flawlessly:

Posed before Diane and Mike's favorite tree at Lussier Family Heritage Center, Madison, WI:

The next morning was a bit colder, but my sibs thought my 91 y/o Dad needed a ride/photo shoot of his own with the Fiat. So, top down, A/R windblocker deployed, off to circle Capitol Square in Madison and check out rafts of loons on Lake Monona:

Dad's comment: "With this windblocker thing, it's windier at the stoplights than when we are moving!"

Thanks to all of you who helped me and Pat get Blue 72 ready for the event, and beyond! Next weekend is supposed to be warmer, and with a recent frost, we ought to be hitting peak colors in southern WI. Looking forward to many more rides!
