didn't get a lot done today, but i did manage to get the reduction gear starter and the header installed (thanks jim)... I also put the aluminum coolant take on just to see what it looks like in place. i still have to find the fittings for it. the starter install went quickly, but the header was a pain. i had to break out the cherry picker, lift the engine and remove the motor mount and take off the center link to get it to fit in there.

Hope my engine bay looks as good as yours! Did you have problems putting in the gear reduction starter? I have one but it is still a ways out before I can install it.

Yah... Starter was a breeze. But I never seen the problem installing the old one though. With the intake out, working with extensions and a swivel from underneath and a helper holding the socket on the bolt from up top....

Alan keeps threatening not to get my dash wood done so he can have his car on the road first.
