The hardware other than the chrome (push button) handles on my 1975 race car has been removed by the PO, I guess to save weight, and I need to reinstall all of the hardware to get them working again. I have a good set of doors from an 83 with the new style latches. Can anyone tell me if the internal hardware from the 83 doors will work on the 75? I know the obvious answer is to put the 83 doors on it, but I vintage race it and want to keep the appearance period correct and don't want the pull type handles.

I fit early style door handles to a set of 81 doors and everything lined up and works. A little different than moving the internals from one door to another but it makes me think the the mounting points are the same.
