I want to remove my steering wheel to strip and paint so I went and grabbed my metric allen key set to remove the steering wheel's 6 screws. Great. but then I find that some of those little screws are stripped.
what is the best method of removing those screws if the allen head is partially rounded out?

Get a dremel with a grinding wheel or diamond wheel and cut a slot (be very carefull not to cut/nick the surrounding steering wheel) and remove with a slotted screwdriver, or just buy one of those screw extractors which would probably be easier and less damaging.
