any one have ANY idea where i can get a fuel tank for a 69 fiat spyder 124, i have tried for a year now lookin
i get my parts from internationl auto and they have no idea where,i have tried on line,i have contacted everthing and every place that sells parts
does not run with out one

I wonder what the difference between the 69 model and 72 model would be. I have one from a 72 model.

no idea, umm mine sits in the trunk, flanges around , bolts down
the gas insert is on the side not the top, that would be the difference i suppose

From what literature I have, I believe the tank is the same for all the carbureted 124 spiders. Does your tank look like the pictures in this link: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v26/v ... 0tank%201/ There are 5 pictures there, you should be able to sequence through them to get different views of the tank.

Denise's '72 tank likely looks like this one.

If Denise's doesn't work out, we can talk about the one in the pictures. Where are you located? I'm in Ventura, CA. Denise is near Winston Salem, NC.

what did u want for that one in the picture? does the tank need to be relined, of is is rust free?

It is available. I can send you pictures showing the dent on the bottom and the minor surface rust inside. Denise's is possibly in better condition, and since she spoke first, I'd prefer that you start with hers. Put me down as an alternate.

Thanks Alvon. You're always a gentleman, but I have plenty of room to store mine and I know you want to clean out the parts you have so go ahead and make the deal.
