Well, there goes the neighborhood!

Yep, Mudge finally found his way over here. I like what I've seen. Old habits die hard but this looks like a great place to meet more Fiatsi and gather more information.

A short profile:

My 1st 124 Spider was a '69 AS that I bought in 1972 to try to lure back my departed girlfriend. Nothing worked, not even the car. :( I had that car for almost 10 years then no others till 1998 when my son wanted his 1st car, bought a '78 Spider. I got hooked again and bought my '79.

Since then a stream of Fiats have made their way into and out of my garage.
'78 124 Spider....dead, rolled into a tree, son's fault
'80 124 Spider...dead, burned, FI leak, son's fault.
'79 124 Spider....mine
'75 X 1/9...in Vancouver BC now
'72 128 3P....with S Folkerts in Penn
'67 1000R wagon..with Dave Voss in Napa
'71 124 Spider...brad artigues baby
'72 124 Spider....off to Csaba Vandor
'76 124 Spider...off to crusher
'75 124 Spider...currently being parted out
'69 124 Spt Coupe...living in Newport Beach now
'75 124 Spt Coupe...living in Georgetown, CA
'81 124 Spider, ex-turbo car...current resto project

I may have missed one or two. I'm working from memory here.

My '79 is almost finished and I have an '81 ex-turbo car up on jacks and under way now. It will remain an FI car WO/Turbo.

Now let's see if I can drop in a pic or two. Here goes......

Mudge, someone stole your bumpers! I know Brad Artigue has been saying he's gonna corner the market on the tube bumpers, you don't suppose.... nah, couldn't be.
Welcome to the forum, very nice looking '79, was the interior that nice when you got it?

Oh No! Not Mudge! Glad to see you pop your head in, Mike. I'm sure you'll find many people you already know and many you don't, but we all enjoy helping each other out.

I'm leaning towards no bumpers but then the luggage rack is going to look weird, no? I could have another one painted to match I suppose.
