oil pressure

I'm thinking of ditching the clock and putting in an oil pressure guage


has anyone done this and have any pointers on how to do it?

I did it years ago, If I remember correctly, you need to get ahold of the older style pressure gauge and the oil sending unit (a 2" x 2" round unit that screw in to the oil filter bracket directly behind the oil idiot light sensor). Check an electrical guide for wiring, but there is a single wire that comes from the sending unit. If you find an older style wooden instrument cluster, it has an extra hole for the oil gauge and allows you to keep the clock.
