Icon files

Does anyone have any *.dll files that I can use for my desktop representing Fiat(s)

What program can I use to turn a *.jpg or *.bmp file to a *.dll file?

Sure would like to get some shortcuts with different Icons. Microsoft is SOO boring.

years ago I had two programs for my windows 3.1 called Icon-Do-It and Icon-Magic. they had thousands of icons some were animated, and you could even create new icons. Surely there is freeware for that now, let me look around to see how we can do conversions and such.

here'sa lengthy how-to, I'll see if there's an easier way. looks like they have you make multiple sizes and pixel depth, but since we aren't talking about making an icon to distribute we can just make one size and make it 24-bit or something....

I just downloaded this free converter and it couldn't be easier:

I just made a BMP that was 48x48 and saved it. then you run that program above, then you drag the .bmp file onto the converter and it automatically converts it to a .ico file that you can use as an icon!

I'm kinda glad you made me look for that it's neat. Now to look through the gallery for Spiders to make into icons!
