The Elusive Valve Adjustment Tool

Does anyone know the real reason it is so difficult to get the elusive valve adjustment tool from the main vendors?
Is it because they sell so many of them that they cannot keep enough of them on the shelf -- or is it because they don't sell enough of them to warrant keeping them in stock?
Just curious.
It has been difficult finding the tool, lately.
(this is the tool that holds the tappet down so that you can remove the shim)

Zippy, many thanks for the offer. I prefer to just own one as I plan on keeping my car forever and willing it to my son, so multiple valve adjustments are probably in my car's future.

My wife was actually trying to find the tool as one of my many Fiat X-Mas gifts she is going to be giving me -- and she was somewhat distraught (bless her heart) over not being able to locate one. She must not have tried you guys!
