Torque Converter Removal?

I have my motor disassembled and ready to send off for a rebuild. I can't seem to remove the Torque converter. I have removed the 3 bolts holding it on to the flywheel/flexplate and have tried carefully prying and hitting it. Am I missing somthing obvious here? Thanks, Dave

just the rusted hub that is stuck in the crankshaft. Did you pull the trans and leave the converter on the engine? That must have been messy

Thanks Mark. I bought the motor with the converter still attached, so no mess for me anyway
