Vacuum Hose Options RESOLVED

Just curious to know the forum's thoughts on vacuum hoses. I saw this a while back and was curious if something other than silicone could be used ( i.e. fuel injector hose etc)?

I have them, they've been on the car over a year. They are an extremely tight fit so they don't need clamps. I highly recommend them.
