My brake pad springs arrived today. Did the front from start to finish slowly. The new springs seemed to have made all the difference and the fact that I no longer have two sets of different springs also helps. Went for a test drive and all seems well. Fingers crossed

Thanks to all

Daily driven and all seems well, going to try and tackle the rear brakes this weekend. Any do's & don't's you can suggest?

if you are rebuilding the rear calipers pay very close attention to the wedges and how they come apart.... saves lots of questions at reassembly.... are you replacing any of the soft brake lines?.... in the back there are 3.... each wheel and a compensator in the middle..... also when bleeding the back brakes (if needed) you will have to have weight on the back axle for the compensator to flow fluid to the calipers..... and of course you know what clips to use ... lol

 clips  I am hoping to just replace the rotors & pads as everything else looks/works fine I wanted all brakes done at the same time. Ebrake works great so not going to play with that for now.

rear calipers screw in to make room for the new pads and rotors.... cant compress them like the fronts.... some use a file.... sideways .... you will see what i mean when you get to that point.... i used (great tip from this site) a tire iron

sorry you are having problems...one of mine was very hard to get started ... once started it moved ok.... the hard one i started with channel locks to get it going...as well as a clamp compressing a bit.... your going clockwise right?.... you have to push in while you turn.... i cracked the bleed screw open... dont know if it helped or not but seemed like it should help a little releasing pressure.... could be the piston is a little skewed to one side... try tapping on it with a hammer to let things loose and try the tool again
