Mark;
your excellent grasp and use of the language led me to believe that you would understand sarcasm. My post above fairly dripped with it. Of course you misquoted Mark on purpose.... that is the point I was making, sarcastically. I'm sorry that escaped you.
Let me set the record straight for you (as I'm sure everyone else already understands). I absolutely believe that you know how to use the keyboard, and the "quote" tools in your posts. I absolutely believe that you missed the two most important words of that quote on purpose. I bow to your superior use of the English language, and its associated literary and editorial tools and nuance.

As for schoolyard dust-ups and honor; I thankfully have no need of either here. And rightly so, since an internet forum would be a poor place to seek either. My "knee-jerk", as you'll notice, is not about confronting anyone to whom I feel superior. It's about confronting those who I see as the "school-yard Bully" to use your own analogy. I see what looks like a consistent pattern of the same culprits bullying the same victims over and over again. And I step in. Just like decades ago, back at the schoolyard. (HEY! I LIKE this analogy..... I'm glad you brought it up!) No-one has asked me to step-in, but I believe common decency requires me to. My "honor" is certainly not at stake. is yours?

For you, this must seem a little bit like deja-vu all over again, eh? I mean, isn't this the same methodology we watched you use to unravel yourself over at F-Chat?
I wonder... do you own a Fiat?
Dude:

Your Shakespearean mastery of sarcasm and paranoia-inducing cryptologic genius aside...

You're wasting your awesome talents here, now that you've found Fchat; that site functions fully half as a public willie-waving forum.

When you disrupt threads, such as the recent brake disc discussion, for no better purpose or effect than pitching a pantless tantrum, when you assault any who do not sufficiently echo your opinions or affirm your prejudices and stifle those who won't stand to a bully, rather than asserting your dominion over the forum you diminish the value and utility of it for those who are here because they are struggling to reclaim their beautiful, if too often and sadly neglected, Spiders from the abyss without any expectation or desire of navigating the maze of your pathologies.

...Teach what you know, learn what you can; leave the "King of the Internet" crap in the comments section of YouTube.

It's been estimated that about 10% of the U.S. population has undiagnosed psychiatric illness. So this site maybe under represented. Too bad it comes down to it, but it's nice to know about the ignore button. For those of you that have knowingly or unknowingly helped me with my restoration, thank you. It's what a forum like this should be all about. If confrontation is your cup of tea, go find a site devoted to politics.

I guess nobody "won" the last internet pissing contest, so a new contest was started. This will go on for 5 pages before someone steps over the line, the thread gets locked, and eventually deleted. A new contest will start again 3-4 months from now. Typical.

FYI this is not directed at either party, just a general observation about internet forum altercations that resolve nothing, but to create a bi-partisan forum.

Aw... Skippy: I thought you and the boys in the Drama Club had Unfriended me?

Was all that silent movie melodrama just more mincing pantomime for the Children's Theatre production of Lord of the Flies you and the lads pretend you aren't performing?

Ciao,

This is ridiculous. This could all be averted if we had a few good rules . And when not followed, people should be banned!

No personal attacks will be allowed. You’re welcome to disagree with another member’s opinion but attacking (flaming) and insulting another member is not acceptable. Intentionally starting flame wars could cause your community privileges to be revoked.

No pointless complaining, moaning, and whining. This mostly applies to the operation and moderation of the online community. Members will be banned, threads removed, and so on based on the clearly defined rules. Publicly bemoaning the operation of the community and the way the rules are enforced will not put you in good favor with the moderators. If you have a legitimate concern or suggestion, PM a moderator.

This should help clear out the garbage. This has to be gone to bring this place back to what it used to be. SERIOUSLY!

Rey, that all sounds great.

Except that it looks like I would be out on my ear! Can we have a three-strikes rule?

i wouldnt worry Maytag. I think this would end some of the things that set you off. You only write what alot of others are actually thinking. I think you add to this forum personally.

All I can say is Wow!! Manoamatt hit the nail on the head.Let it go guys.
One thing I saw here was the comment on modifications not being acceptable in the Fiat community.I havent found this to be the case at all.I always felt the general attitude was very open to cars being modified.I really enjoy seeing creative ideas put into action.I was involved with Brit cars for years, and any modification was truly frowned upon by the majority. You are always going to have ultra conservative people in any group Some forums are the same way.So...dont post there :D.Now,Maytag, how about some pictures???
